About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 30 September 2026Dorpshaven is one of two harbours run by Watersportvereniging Wassenaar, a sailing club founded in 1966 and located near 's-Gravenhage/Wassenaar. The club operates a smaller "village harbour" with a limited number of fixed berths together with a larger adjoining "outer harbour" offering considerably more berths.
Visiting sailors are welcome, though the guest berths are found in the adjoining outer harbour, where you simply moor at any free spot. Each evening between 19:00 and 20:00 the harbourmaster does a round, and in summer club members are always around to help with questions.
Free drinking-water taps are available on the piers, and each berth has its own electricity post with a connection point. Internet access is available in the harbour, and facilities exist for pumping out wastewater from the holding tank. There is no diesel fuel station in the harbour.
