About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Grevebroen is the largest harbour in the Bredningen sea and is located on the island of Strynø in the South Funen Archipelago, between Rudkøbing and Marstal. The old harbour was dilapidated and cramped, but thanks to local enthusiasts and a substantial donation, a new harbour twice the size could be inaugurated in the summer of 2009.
The harbour's depth of 2.5-3 metres ensures that even larger boats can call in without problems.
In the modern service building you will find toilet and shower facilities as well as a kitchen with a sink and hotplates. The harbour also has a playground, a sailors' lounge and a cosy barbecue area.
Just 1 km from the harbour lies the town of Strynø with a small local grocery store and several nice dining spots. Only 400 metres from the harbour you can visit Ø-havets Smakkecenter and experience the exhibition on the nature and cultural history of the South Funen Archipelago. Come and berth at Grevebroen for a taste of genuine island atmosphere on Strynø.
