About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Lörudden is a small guest harbour in a genuine fishing village dating back to the 1600s, located on the north-eastern part of Björkön at the southern entrance to Sundsvallsbukten in the Bothnian Sea, south of Sundsvall. The place, commonly known locally as Löran, is a well-preserved old fishing settlement with an old chapel and a stone labyrinth among its features.
The guest harbour offers 3 guest berths, with a harbour depth of about 2 metres. The entrance channel is marked by leading lights consisting of two red lamps on white triangles.
Right next to the harbour is the highly regarded Restaurant Lörudden, which has its own smokehouse serving both fresh and smoked fish, along with a fish shop that also stocks everyday groceries.
Within easy reach lies Bergafjärden beach, a shallow, child-friendly bathing spot with a beach café, camping restaurant and cabins, about 15 km from the harbour. There is also the option to stay overnight in the old fishermen's huts, and from Lörudden you can take boat trips out to the Brämön nature reserve. Come alongside at Lörudden and experience an authentic piece of the Norrland coast with fresh fish right by the quay.
