About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Marstal Havkajakcenter is not a traditional marina but a storage arrangement run by Marstal Kajakklub, where visitors with their own kayak can store their kayak and equipment on Ærø. There are two storage locations: the clubhouse at Det Lille Hav in the southern part of Marstal Harbour, where the guest key gives access to a designated guest shed on the right-hand side of the clubhouse viewed from the water, and the kayak house at Trekanten by Vestre Bådehavn and the marina in Ærøskøbing, which has a limited number of spaces.
The arrangement covers only storage of your own kayak and gear for up to 3 days and costs DKK 200. The key is collected from Marstal Guest Service/Marstal Library at Prinsensgade 21 or from Ærøskøbing Guest Service at Ærøskøbing Havn 4, normally staffed on weekdays 10:00-14:00 from 1 March to 1 October. Contact the key collection point before arrival with your dates, mobile number and number of people/kayaks.
Toilets, showers and electricity are available, but subject to the harbour's own rules and charges. There is no rental of kayaks or equipment – you must bring everything yourself.
Drop off your kayak for storage in Marstal or Ærøskøbing, and enjoy the rest of Ærø on foot.
