About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 27 September 2026Ærøskøbing Lystbådehavn is a modern and well-kept marina located centrally, almost in the middle of town on the north coast of Ærø, sheltered behind Dejrø and Urehoved. The harbour is well protected in all weather and forms part of Ærøskøbing Havn, which is otherwise divided into the modern marina and the old harbour for larger vessels.
The marina can be called around the clock, and the harbour's mole lighthouse guides you in safely between 1 April and 1 October, while the channel leading up to the harbour is marked with green and red sticks. A speed limit of 3 knots applies within the marina. On Ærø guests do not pay at a machine but to the harbour fee collector, who visits all the jetties morning and evening. Guest fees start from 210 DKK for a boat of 9-12 metres.
The harbour offers modern shower and toilet facilities, and electricity, showers and WiFi are included in the harbour fee. Fresh water is available on the jetties, and fuel can be taken on at the harbour. For sociable evenings there is a playground, barbecue huts and the historic Kogehus from 1810, where guest sailors can cook dinner indoors in the dry. Bicycles can be rented right by the harbour, and a new slipway has recently been established.
Within walking distance you'll find Ærøskøbing, Denmark's smallest market town, with cobblestone streets, well-preserved houses and a vibrant arts scene.
