About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Præstø Harbour is a municipal marina in Vordingborg Municipality, beautifully situated inside Præstø Fjord amid a harbourside idyll of cobbled streets and listed warehouses.
The approach through the fjord is described as truly unique and fantastic. Visiting boaters receive discounts on their stay, with the third night free under the municipality's marina fee scheme.
The harbour offers bathrooms and toilets, plus a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a diesel tank, where fuelling is arranged by contacting the harbourmaster between 8 am and 4 pm, as well as a mast crane, a chandlery, and good parking facilities. The marina provides free wifi, bicycle rental, and receives both waste oil and hazardous waste. At berth 8 there is also a set of steps for winter bathing, while motorhomes have a dedicated parking spot. The slipway is closed until spring 2027.
Just 150 metres from the harbour you'll find a fine sandy beach with bathing jetties. In Præstø itself, you'll find plenty of places to eat, a lively café scene, an ice cream parlour, and the Michelin-starred restaurant Frederiksminde with its beautiful adjoining park. Tie up in the harbour's charming surroundings and stroll into town for an evening of good wine and live music.
