About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Sakskøbing Havn is a well-sheltered marina at the head of the picturesque Sakskøbing Fjord, right in the centre of the town of Sakskøbing on Lolland. The harbour is run by the Sakskøbing Motor & Sailing Club (S.M.S.K.), and the harbour is owned by Guldborgsund Municipality. There are berths for both large and small motor and sailing boats, as well as smaller fishing boats by the wattle fences.
The approach runs through the dredged Oreby Rende channel, where the depth is 3.0 metres, and inside the harbour itself the depth is likewise up to 3.0 metres. Note the speed limit in the fjord from Oreby Havn onwards, and that outbound vessels must give way to inbound ones. Guest berths are found along the harbour quay and at green free spots between the piles, on both sides of the harbour. The harbour has no permanent harbourmaster since it is run by volunteers, and payment for a berth is made via Harba or MobilePay, after which you receive a code for the service building. The harbour is part of the Frihavn scheme, so if your home harbour belongs to the same scheme you get a discount on the harbour fee.
Onboard you can look forward to toilets and showers, a washing machine and dryer (entrance at the back of the toilet building), shore power, waste facilities and a barbecue area with tables and benches right next to the playground. Bikes are also available to borrow.
