About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Thorsminde Jollehavn is a small fjord harbour in the coastal town of Thorsminde on the west coast of Jutland, located on the east side of the sluice between the North Sea and Nissum Fjord. Over the years the harbour has been continuously maintained and modernised.
In the most recent expansion in 2006, the basin east of the old auction house was extended with a bridge, adding 12 extra berths to the dinghy harbour.
Near the harbour there is a slipway at Vesthavnen, which can be used by boat owners in the area. The dinghy harbour itself carries the marks of the local fishing tradition, where the town's boys used to learn to tie nets and sail on the fjord.
Moor at Gammel Havn and experience the historic fishing atmosphere that still characterises Thorsminde today.
