Yachthafen Burgtiefe

Yachthafen Burgtiefe is the largest and most modern of Fehmarn's five marinas, located on the Burger Binnensee on the island's south side, sheltered from swell. The marina has 600 berths spread across a circular pontoon, a dinghy pontoon and five other jetties, four slipways and a crane berth. Pricing is all-inclusive, covering the berth, parking at the marina, wifi, a code for the sanitary facilities, water and electricity, and waste disposal. Payment can be made online or around the clock via a machine at the marina. The harbour office is open Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 9am-3pm.

The marina has three modern sanitary buildings with showers and toilets, a laundry room with washing machine and dryer (€6 per use), and a fuel berth. Along the promenade you'll find a café, a restaurant and a bar, and right by the circular pontoon there's a self-service shop selling fresh bread and provisions. Bikes can be hired at the IFA Fehmarn Hotel on Südstrandpromenade, and there are several free barbecue areas as well as playgrounds for children right within the marina.

Just 250 metres from the marina lies Südstrand, a bathing beach with beach chairs. In the neighbouring harbour of Burgstaaken, 2.5 km away, you can buy freshly caught fish straight from the cutter.
