About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Yachthafen Ostseebad Laboe sits on the scenic Kieler Außenförde and is a pleasant mix of an old fishing harbour and a modern marina. The harbour has two entrances separated by a middle pier and can be approached both day and night; take care at the north-east entrance, where the high sheet-pile wall blocks the view of oncoming boats, and do not moor at the outer mole as there is an underwater breakwater wall about 1 m away. The harbour offers berths up to 6.00 x 60.00 metres.
The harbour is conveniently reached via the A 215 and B 502, and the town bus as well as the Fördeschifffahrt ferries from Kiel stop directly at the harbour car park.
At the harbour you'll find clean, modern sanitary facilities, a washing machine and dryer, internet access, a small playground by pier F, a barbecue area next to the slipway, a slipway by pier J, crane lifting up to 20 tonnes, a pump-out station behind the fuel berth, a used-oil collection container at pier J, and a fuel berth with diesel at pier L.
The town centre and beach are just a few minutes' walk away, offering shops and restaurants as well as a bakery, pharmacy and grocery stores such as EDEKA and Aldi. Moor in this charming harbour and stroll the short distance into Laboe's inviting town centre and beach.
