About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Yachthafen Marina Wendtorf is located directly at the mouth of the Kieler Förde and stretches across 11 piers (Steg 1 to Steg 11) with the adjoining water area and a 10-metre-wide promenade along the marina.
The skipper of every boat must register with the harbourmaster on or immediately after arrival and present the boat's papers; guest fees and payment follow the current price list, which is posted at the harbourmaster's house and on the marina's website. A speed limit of 3 knots applies throughout the harbour area, and the piers are closed to access in winter (1 Nov-31 Mar) without written permission.
The piers offer 230-volt AC power outlets with limited capacity, as well as water - which is not suitable for drinking. Waste must be sorted and disposed of in the marked containers provided. Parking areas are available along the marina, including by the dike east of the road Törn and in the middle of the promenade, as well as a parking garage currently under construction.
The marina is centrally located on the Kieler Förde and offers good opportunities for a stay both afloat and ashore - tie up at one of the 11 piers and enjoy the view over the fjord from the promenade.
