About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Christiansø Harbour lies between the islands of Christiansø and Frederiksø, approximately 20 km north-east of Bornholm. The harbour is a natural anchorage accessible from both north and south in all weather conditions. Around 2,000 yachtspeople berth here annually.
Vessels under 20 tonnes do not require a berth reservation. Vessels larger than 20 tonnes must book a berth with the harbour master before arrival. The harbour master is available at the harbour office from 4–5 pm. The harbour fee is paid online at www.tallyweb.dk/christiansoe/home. For stays under 4 hours, 10 kr is charged per person. Maximum speed in the harbour is 3 knots; anchoring is permitted only with harbour authority approval.
Toilets are located on the Christiansø side of the harbour. Additional toilets, showers and laundry facilities are housed in the yellow warehouse building east of the church. Waste must be sorted into marked disposal containers along the quay. Christiansø Trading and Inn has operated for over 100 years and contains a hotel, inn, restaurant and shop.
The harbour lies peaceful and idyllic, surrounded by ancient fortress structures. Swimming in the harbour is prohibited, and lavatory wastewater cannot be received here.
