About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Listed Harbour is a cosy granite port on Bornholm's east coast, with one remaining active commercial fisherman and plenty of room for visiting yachters, who are welcome in all the harbour's basins. The harbour is well-protected in all wind directions and at the height of summer affords beautiful sunsets.
The approach should be made in daylight and in clear, good visibility conditions – but not in strong onshore winds. The illuminated approach direction of 202.8 degrees, marked by two red triangular daymarks and two red lights at night, must be strictly respected.
The harbour has a small sailors' cabin as well as three modern bathrooms with underfloor heating, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. You can enjoy a drink at the harbour's café/ice-cream bar and cocktail bar, or treat yourself to a lobster restaurant serving local produce.
The small fishing hamlet also features a small fishery museum, a ceramicist, a craft-art shop, a jeweller, glass art and a farm shop, plus its own trolling centre offering jig-boat trips and guided angling tours. About 300 metres north of the harbour lies "Høl", a hidden bathing cove in a granite cleft, while the Vasebæk stream flows into the sea 300 metres to the east – following the stream inland you pass a granite waterworks building designed by architect Jørn Utzon. It is about two kilometres to the Brændesgårdshaven amusement park, and a lovely four-kilometre walk north takes you to Randkløve Cleft, passing Bølshavn and the secret Harald's Harbour.
